Welcome to Alcester in Bloom

Many individuals and organisations too numerous to mention all take great pride in the town by displaying floral decor, litter picking, weeding, watering and the cleaning the river out.

Shops and offices invite you to shop in the town with their vibrant displays. The local pubs are allwelcoming. There are many to choose from.

The Girl Guides and Brownies have their own displays and also help with their families on a rota system with watering the 150 hanging baskets every night.

The Special Services are pleased to help brighten the Greig Centre. Residents fromChurch St. give tender loving care to the Princess Diana Memorial and theFire Station is a blaze of colour! The British Legion regularly clean the Memorial in the church grounds and also have a flower display.

St Benedicts R.C. school plant and maintain the 8 troughs outside their school. The Infant school, with the parents, have built their own garden which is used for many things. Alcester High School Technology College have very kindly authored this new website for us. Mrs Tilley's Nursery School are always pleased to join in with the community and are very active.
